Thalapathy Vijay’s new movie ‘Leo’ is hogging the headlines so much that no one noticed his recent movie ‘Varisu’ continuing its dream run at the box office. The film despite tough competition from Ajith’s ‘Thunivu’ and garnering mixed reviews has attracted family audiences and is still going strong in theaters.
Sri Venkateswara Creations the production house belonging to Dil Raju has officially announced that ‘Varisu’ has crossed the magical rupees three hundred crores mark at the worldwide box office. The milestone has been achieved in just three weeks.

Meanwhile there is a buzz in Kollywood and Tollywood circles that Vijay and Vamshi are likely to reunite for a new movie in the next couple of years. The sources say that the director already narrated a one line which Vijay liked and will listen to the full script after the completion of ‘Leo’.
It is already certain that Vijay will be uniting with Atlee for ‘Thalapathy 68’ to be produced by Sun Pictures. The Vijay-Vamshi project may be ‘Thalapathy 69’ or ‘Thalapathy 70’. Lets wait and see whether this buzz becomes a reality or just remains a speculation following the tremendous success of ‘Varisu’.
