Jack Grealish broke a Frank Lampard-held Premier League record in Man City’s win over Real Madrid – 101 Great Goals

Manchester City star Jack Grealish last night etched his name indellibly into the record books of European competition.

This came en route to Pep Guardiola’s troops booking their spot in the finale of the Champions League.

City, of course, were back in action 24 hours ago, welcoming Spanish giants Real Madrid to The Etihad for the 2nd leg of a highly-anticipated semi-final showdown.

And, after the two clubs could not be separated across 90 minutes in Madrid, this time round, the gulf in class was clear.

En route to an eventual 4-0 triumph, Bernardo Silva (2), Manuel Akanji and Julian Alvarez were all on target for a rampant Man City.

As alluded to above, though, post-match, it was another member of the Sky Blues’ squad who took his place front and centre online.

The player in question? Jack Grealish.

This comes after it was revealed that the former Aston Villa man had secured for himself a new record.
