Certainly Drake felt he was in some kind of time warp when interviewed by TSN.
“I feel like the last time I was here was 1998 and they were wearing dinosaurs on the jerseys,” he said.
While the actual was quite entertaining, Jaylen Brown post-game was not complementary of the floor, saying the playing surface was too slippery.
“Tonight I thought the floor was kind of unacceptable,” said Brown, who led the Celtics with 23 points on 9-of-14 shooting.
The Raptors became the last team in the NBA to play in the league’s inaugural in-season tournament, which has drawn both criticism and applause.
Gaudy court designs have been the norm, but for those in attendance at Scotiabank Arena the aesthetics were more than appealing.
